Concealed Weapons Class

We offer a comprehensive personal protection training class that exceeds the minimum Florida training requirements for a concealed weapons license. The training that you receive at The Gun Shop will include:

-Basic level firearms handling, such as loading and unloading and fundamentals of shooting.

-Situational awareness and conflict avoidance.

-Legal issues, FL statutes 790, 776.

-Successfully interacting with responding law enforcement and dealing with the criminal investigation.

-Firearms safety and storage issues.

-Live Ammunition range firing.

Price is $85 per person.

HR-218 Qualification

The Federal law enforcement officers safety act (HR-218). Our Florida criminal justice certified law enforcement firearms instructor offers retired law enforcement officers the opportunity to fire the Florida re-qualification course required to carry a firearm under the provisions of LEOSA. Qualifications are administered by appointment and remedial training can be provided when required.

Private Range Experience

Want personal firearms training? Need someone to go over how to disassemble & clean your gun? Or maybe you would like to have an instructor on hand while you shoot your firearms in case you need help. Whatever the reason our instructors can provide expert assistance. Contact the store for availability and to schedule with an instructor.

Cost $85 per person per hour.

Price includes an instructor, range admission, and a firearm if needed.
